Clever Castle Ltd. is dedicated to promoting sustainability by producing products that are environmentally responsible and ethically sourced. We prioritise using planet-friendly materials that minimize environmental impact, ensuring that we reduce waste and conserve natural resources. Additionally, we emphasise the use of plant-based ingredients, supporting biodiversity and avoiding harm to animals. Soy wax
We use soy wax which is crafted from responsibly sourced soybean oil, and is both GMO-free and vegan-friendly. Our wax is sourced from AAK who are known for their strong commitment to sustainability, ensuring that their wax is produced with the utmost respect for the environment and the people involved.
Fragrance oils
All of the fragrance oils we use are vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, responsibly sourced and come packaged in infinitely recyclable aluminium bottles. They are blended to be optimised for candles and are Paraben-free and Phthalates-free.
Glass containers
All of our candles are made using glass containers. Glass is a sustainable material which can be recycled endlessly without losing its quality or purity, reducing waste and conserving resources. Glass containers are reusable, minimising landfill waste. Glass also does not emit harmful chemicals or toxins when heated, making it a safer and more eco-conscious option for candles.
Packaging
Our candles are protected using Flexi-Hex sleeves which are made from over 85% recycled paper pulp and are both biodegradable and compostable. We package them in Flexi-Hex boxes which made from responsibly-sourced FSC®-certified paper, all fully recyclable
